Not an easy project, building within a tight urban environment on the 4th and 5th floors, with difficult neighbours, ‘Rights of Light Awards’, access disputes and onerous building control regulations. But despite all these issues, and at a time when lending was limited, we kept the project on track and on time, delivering a stunning penthouse in a great location.

When purchased this was a robust building spilt into two flats, in a poor state of cosmetic repair but in a great location, which had been on the market for a long time. We saw the potential and transformed the layout, changing a lot of the internal spaces and added 130sqm of accommodation. It is now a spacious modern house with dramatic views of the South Downs.
